Proof (EX)Explosion Proof is a safety requirement for vehicles used in areas where an explosion may occur due to sparks etc. Areas of special concern are those in which gas, liquids, vapors, dust, suspended or airborne particulate etc. if their concentrate and mix with air might lead to an explosion. A heat sink minimizes the development of sparks due to overheating of electronic vehicle components.
